Dependency on critical raw materials poses risks to supply security in Europe and to the domestic economy. For nearly half of these raw materials (8 of 17), China is Austria's most important supplier.

Circular economy measures offer the best way to free ourselves from this dependency, become immune to political blackmail, and safeguard our competitiveness.
